Description - Custom Engraved Drinking Glasses

Our laser is a flatbed type, suitable for engraving materials like marble, wood, etc. that have a flat, smooth surface. In order to engrave on curved surfaces we've purchased an attachment. Not all types of glasses are suitable for engraving. Below are photos of our attachment and how a drinking glass and a wine glass will sit on it.

You'll notice that both ends of the glass sit on rollers; these rotate and move the glass surface, allowing it to be etched. Both ends must be round in order for the rollers to move the glass while engraving. Another important aspect is the slope of the glass. The circumfrence of the engraved area must be the same or the laserbeam will engrave unevenly or worst yet, miss spots completely. NEXT
